Participants of this photo contest must adhere to the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of this contest as stated hereinafter:-

Rules and Regulations

- Entries may be in colour or black and white.
- Entries must be original works.
- Entries must be under 5MB in size.
- Entries must be submitted in JPEG format, in 72 dpi.
- Entries must be furnished with the following particulars: Participant: Name (as in NRIC), I/D No, Address, Email, Tel, Fax, Age. Model: Name, I/D No, Address, Email, Tel, Fax, Age, relation to the participant.
- Entries must be accompanied by a write-up in 50 words or less that explains the rationale behind the composition.
- Each participant may submit up to 5 entries.
- Participants may submit their entries via email to scwoiwd2007@gmail.com or in CD-rom to the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations (SCWO), 96 Waterloo Street, Singapore 187967.
- Entries must be submitted by 26 February 2007. Any late or incomplete submissions shall be deemed as void.
- SCWO is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected requests, which are void.
- Entries must not be inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by SCWO. SCWO shall have the right to edit, adapt and publish any or all of the write-ups and/or photos submitted, and may use them in any media in association with the Photo Contest in conjunction with IWD07 without attribution or compensation to the participant and model(s) or any other entity participating in the photo contest.
- Winners of the Photo Contest will be required to submit their entries in high resolution for the photo showcase.


Judging Criteria

- Entries will be judged based on technicalities and adherence to the theme.
- Panel of judges appointed by SCWO will select winners.
- The decision of the judges are final.
- Winners shall be notified by email and telephone by 7 March 2007.
- Twenty best entries will be showcased at SCWO Centre during the launch of IWD07 on March 10, 2007.


Terms & Conditions

- Participants must be 13 years and above as of 1 January 2007.
- Singapore citizens, PR residents and valid work permit or student pass holders, except employees and immediate family members of SCWO, its associated member organisations and participating partners.
- All participants agree to abide by the rules and regulations set for this Photo Contest.
- SCWO reserves the right at any time and in its absolute discretion to vary the terms and conditions (or any part thereof) without prior notice.
- All decisions made by SCWO are final and binding.
- SCWO reserves the right to substitute the premiums and prizes at any time with or without notice to the participant.
- SCWO reserves the right to use participant's and model's particulars for publicity purposes.
- Participants agree to take part in any promotion or publicity exercise as may be conducted by SCWO and the participants hereby irrevocably and unconditionally grant SCWO all consents and waivers necessary for SCWO to record and use the participants' performance, appearance, likeness, name and/or particulars in any manner as SCWO shall in its sole discretion deem.
- The participants acknowledge that SCWO shall be at liberty to publish and otherwise use any works submitted to SCWO, for the Photo Contest.
- SCWO accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for any loss, injury, expense, delay or irregularity resulting from the participation in the Photo Contest.
- Participants shall ensure that their respective photo entries do not infringe any intellectual property rights and shall indemnify SCWO from and against all claims by third parties arising from a breach of this term.
